We often look for unique ways to remember special places around the homestead.  At the same time, I get tired of the usual tchotchkes that gather dust.  So I got excited when I discovered these customized destination pillows from Bethany Lane.

The pillows (actually pillow covers for an 18″ square insert) can be designed for any destination name up to 10 characters long.  Add an address (whether general or exact) and they will customize the appropriate latitude and longitude.  The only boundary is the 10 character limitation.  Airport codes or nicknames may have to suffice for some locales.  Think “SFO” instead of San Francisco or “Indy” instead of Indianapolis.

I think these destination pillows would be so cute to remember special places in one’s life – past homes, memorable vacation locations, university locations.  Or they would make a wonderful hostess gift to take when visiting friends for the weekend.  I could also see these as a wonderful guest favor for a destination wedding.  So many ideas!

These regularly retail for $39.99 but they are a hot deal on the Bethany Lane website for only $13.99 right now.  Right now if you use the code “LUCKY” at checkout, you can save 17% if you spend over $15.

We are not affiliate partners with Bethany Lane but do know the two sisters who founded the company.  They were one of my vendor partners in a former venture.  I can vouch for the quality of their products!
