We are in love with the concept behind newly launched travel concept Journy.  We’ll be test-driving the concept soon and can’t wait to tell all about it.

In the meantime, don’t miss out on an opportunity to win a VIP trip to Sevilla, Spain when you register for their giveaway between now and 11:59 pm ET on May 5, 2017.

From our friends at Journy:

Stay for 5-nights in the luxury Hotel Alfonso XIII; learn about olive oil, ham and sherry with the experts at Mimo Foods; take a guided tour of the city’s legendary tapas scene; and escape to the countryside with your choice of a sherry wine or jamon iberico itinerary.  We’ll also hook you up with $500 for airfare and a gift basket of local delicacies.

About Journy

At Jetsetter’s Homestead, we love the concept behind Journy, an app based travel planning service.  They provide concierge-level planning services for 60 cities (and growing) around the globe.  Journy is not for the average traveler who wants to see the usual landmarks.  Instead they provide customized day-by-day itineraries for your special needs including reservations, downloadable maps, and customizable travel guides.  The service costs a mere $25 per travel day and includes an initial consultation, an initial review, and a set of revisions.

We are currently working with our concierge Nikki to plan our two day stopover in Havana.  We leave for Miami next Friday so having her do all the legwork has been wonderful.  I’ve mentioned it before… I hate travel planning!  I wasn’t a big fan of taking one of the big cruise ship shore excursions.  We also had trouble finding a local guide that wasn’t booked so ended up going with a hybrid driver service.  This gives us a nice plan in case we need to come up with our own suggestions.  I’m already excited about the cool places she has bookmarked that I didn’t turn up in my research.

Look for a future review of Journy to come from us but in the meantime, don’t forget to register for their giveaway.  It could be your chance to win a VIP trip to Sevilla, Spain!

  1. I love give aways but $500 for airfare seems a little weak for anyone outside the EU or UK on this one. Thanks for posting though.
