I love great airline amenity kits.

There is something wonderful about settling down into a comfy airline seat and after taking those first couple of sips of champagne, you are presented with a lovely gift.

That gift?  Hopefully one of these amazing amenity kits.  Travel + Leisure highlighted their picks for the coolest airline amenity kits around right now.

I’ve been lucky to snag several of these from travels in the last year or so – the American Airlines Eames case holds my tablet/keyboard.  The JAL and British Airways ones hold some of my stash of beauty samples on my bathroom counter.  And the Cathay ones get their contents redistributed for my everyday use.

Next up on my wishlist – Qatar, Qantas, and Etihad – if nothing else than for the bags themselves.

I was surprised not to see Lufthansa on the list – the pearl leather bag from a first class flight this summer does double-duty as a small travel clutch for me.

  1. Lots of pretties in those kits…we always like the ‘freebie’, no matter if it is from a hotel, party, or whatever. I could not narrow the most-coveted kit down, so I would say the AA First Class, New Zealand, and Birch Box kits as a 1, 2, 3 choice. The socks in the New Zealand kit rock!

  14. I have long coveted the CX amenity kit(s), but am looking forward to flying Etihad C and Emirates F in a couple of weeks so I’ll receive their goodies! I usually give them to my wife as a souvenir since she puts up with my travels.
