Its been a change of pace here at Jetsetter’s Homestead. Just thinking through my *personal* weekly recap wore me out. We returned to business travel after three weeks at home with a three-day trip to Ohio followed by a four day trip to Minneapolis. We’ll have some things to write up in the near future including missing a flight on a screwed up travel day plus three new hotels to review. In the meantime, the sudden shift in routine is kicking our butt – the stop/start cycle of erratic but heavy travel can be a bit disruptive to everyday life!

While we were flying, something big happened at home in DFW – the DART Orange Line expanded to DFW, meaning the airport finally gets a decent mass transit solution – and it only took 41 years!

Also around the DFW area, hometown carrier American Airlines announced further changes to first class meal ordering.

On the road, I reviewed the Hyatt Regency Bellevue…

… and pondered whether everyone was taking all of their vacation time…

… and hoped that no vacations get disrupted by European volcanos.

I reviewed the August Birchbox and Ipsy shipments…

… and changes to the Stitch Fix style profile settings.

On the fun side, there was this little ditty about cheap flights…

… and someone won a free month with Rise!

And my colleagues at Prior2Boarding produced some great stuff…

… a lot of great stuff actually!

And now it’s already another week. Can you believe it?
