Starwood Headquarters to Relocate to India

In March 2015, watch for Starwood headquarters to relocate to India as part of a month-long cultural immersion program.

During the program, executives from the company will live and conduct business from Mumbai and Delhi in an attempt to better understand the culture and the needs of travelers visiting the growing business community.

Starwood has previous conducted two previous relocation immersions for executives – in China in 2011 and in Dubai in 2013.

Throughout the month, executives will travel extensively, not only throughout many of India’s business hubs but also among other countries in the South Asia region including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. Starwood plans to have 100 hotels operating or under construction in the region by 2016.
