When I stay off planes too long, I start to nest.  That invariably means I bake – or craft – or organize things.

I love The Container Store although I’m still trying to anticipate exactly how their new loyalty program will work. Whatever it is, I am certain I have a good head start after this weekend!

I can now quickly take inventory in my baking cabinet.

I can now reach various plate sizes without having to unstuck smaller dishes from a stack.

None of these finds is anything amazing or earth shattering. But each of these tiny enhancements makes my kitchen easier to use by letting me see what I have. And having things neat and tidy at home lends to the feeling of simplicity I get when staying in a hotel room – form and function!
