Weekly Recap – July 21-27
In case you missed it, here’s the weekly recap for Jetsetter’s Homestead.
We kicked off our week with some data models about airline safety from FiveThirtyEight…
…. and speaking of data, our favorite airline data tool – ExpertFlyer – rolled out new features.
We did lots of reviews:
* Silvercar at DFW
* the Warby Parker Classroom in Dallas
* Birchbox and Ipsy’s July box/bag
* the Sheraton New York Times Square
When we weren’t playing critic, we pondered some of our travel “issues”:
* Unnecessary pleasures in life
* Judging a hotel chain (in this case, Springhill Suites) on preconceived notions
* What to pack for our next trip
And we took a walk down memory lane to remember our “first time” (mileage running, that is!)
Please check out anything you missed!
We are gearing up for almost three weeks at home… a nice break after a hectic summer so far. Some of that time will be used to continue to fine-tune this page, including tinkering with the menus.
It’s also a high priority goal to get the social media feeds for our Twitter and Facebook accounts working correctly!
In the meantime, follow Prior2Boarding on Facebook and/or Twitter to be sure you don’t miss a single post notification for me OR any of the other two dozen blogs on that network – there are all sorts of interesting pages to check out. Many of them travel differently than me (and earn their miles differently too!) but I seem to have learned something new from all of them.
Have a great week!
XOXO
Jennifer
