Shopping Find – Bohemian Sheer Kimono Jackets
I’ve long embraced the bohemian vintage style of dress (a la Anthropologie) as a great way to express my personal style with a neutral wardrobe as a base. When I’m out shopping, I’m always on the hunt for new pieces to add to my mix of classic basics, travel finds, vintage scores, and such.
I don’t stumble into Marshall’s often but I had a client in Northern California push a scheduled meeting back by an hour and there wasn’t much else to do nearby so I wandered in to look for an evening gown and/or a white dress for my sorority convention (also negative). Shopping is never a bad time killer when I can’t find a place to work.
I usually avoid the junior department but on my way around the store I stumbled past a rack of these being shown as swimsuit cover-ups.
I’ve seen similar sheer jackets on many fashion blogs this summer, often styled with a tank top and maxi skirt or vintage denim.
The price was right – $14.99 each
The Marshalls I visited was a smaller one with a relatively picked over inventory but they still had 8 or 9 styles so you may find similar ones at your local store. I think they will be the perfect thing to toss in my bag to throw on over a sundress for the plane on these hot summer days when a cardigan is just too much.
